Patient Referral

You can refer a patient to see me in person in Prahran or online by emailing hello@cm-nutrition.com

Who this is for

CM Nutrition is a non-diet, weight-inclusive dietetic practice in Prahran, Melbourne, specialising in autistic and ADHD adults who are looking for kind, neuroaffirming support with a complicated relationship with food. This includes clients with ARFID, sensory-driven eating differences, binge or restriction cycles, and eating disorder recovery, where a person-centred, non-diet approach is the right fit.

Who to refer

Autistic adults, ADHD adults, or AuDHD adults with a complicated relationship with food.

Suspected or diagnosed ARFID.

A history of disordered eating, particularly where previous weight-focused treatment hasn't worked or has caused harm.

Binge eating or restriction cycles.

Sensory-driven food avoidance.

Clients who need a non-diet, weight-inclusive dietitian as part of a wider treatment team, alongside a psychologist or psychiatrist.

My  approach

Sessions are neuroaffirming, non-diet, and weight-inclusive as a matter of principle, not a marketing label. There's no weight loss framing, no calorie counting and no assumption that a smaller body is the goal. Neurological difference is treated as natural variation, and the client leads the pace of the work.

How to refer

Medicare: a standard GP referral under a Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) or Eating Disorder Care Plan (EDCP)

NDIS: a referral or plan noting dietetic or nutrition support; happy to liaise directly with support coordinators.

Self-referral: clients can also book directly, no referral required.

Helpful to include: relevant history, current concerns, and any prior assessment or dietetic reports.

I respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri People as the Traditional Owners of the land on which I live and work, as well as the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Nations peoples of Australia. I pay my deepest respects to their Elders—past, present, and emerging—and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.

I am grateful for the opportunity to work in Naarm (Melbourne) and am committed to fostering cultural understanding, respect, and reconciliation in my practice and everyday life.
